There are more than 50 color plus several hundred black and white illustrations and photographs, include paintings, sculpture, prints, documents and papal treasures and architecture created by the great artists whom the Popes of every age have attracted to their courts. It also includes a chronological list of Popes (both true and anti-Popes) and a detailed index.
