I am pleased to be able to present for yourconsideration a nice copy of a limited (50, 000), numbered edition (No. 24373), signed by the Author (Irwin Glusker) of: “ASouthern Album—Recollections of Some People and Places and Times Gone By.” This large hard cover book (12 x 12 inches, unnumbered pages, perhaps 200) was published by Oxmoor House, Inc. ofBirmingham, Alabama, dated 1975 and the First Edition ...(so stated). The book is bound in deep blue cloth boardswith embossed and silver gilt titles on cover and spine; it is protected by apictorial dust jacket. The book is enhancedby a narrative by Willie Morris who considers his Southern heritage and allthat it means, woven into the photo mosaic.Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket shows edge wear, including asmall tear on the lower right-hand corner and some wrinkles and tears on thebottom edge of the rear cover, to the spine. The hard covers are ever so slightly dust-dulled but clean with brighttitles; the corners are very slightly bumped. Inside, the only mark in the book is the signed, limitation bookplatefound on the front endpaper; the interior pages and photo plates are clean andbright throughout. Both hinges are fullyintact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.Shipping: This book will be very carefully packed, withbubble wrap and solid cardboard protection and promptly mailed upon payment.
