In 2005 The Easton Press from Norwalk, Connecticut decided to reissue the first six volumes of the Tom Swift boys' adventure series by Victor Appleton, Each volume is an exact replica of the original with illustrations. Hard cover without dust jacket but a color plate of the front of the original dust jacket is bound into the book. Each volume is bound in leather with cloth inside covers, gold edged pages and even a place saving ribbon bookmark is sewn in. 5 3/...4" x 8 1/4". Being offered this time is the first volume: Tom Swift and His Motor-Cycle, 206 pages. Book is in excellent almost-new condition. I don't think it's ever been read. When you open the book the binding is still tight. These are usually sold as a set but many collectors have one or two volumes and would like to complete their set - and at a reasonable price.
