Antique Southern Pottery, 1 Gallon Alkaline Glazed Stoneware Jug. I'm not sure where this jug was made. Definitely in the South. Jug stands 12" high, approximately 7" across at the shoulder , and approximately 6" across at the base. It has 5 or 6 old lip chips as seen in the photos. Also, looks to have some clay seperation on the base which may have done in the firing or may have occurred later (see photo of bottom). No other chips, cracks, or repairs. Really nice form and glaze. <...br>
