The item for sale is an antique Quack medicine bottle label printed circa 1860-1865.
The label reads in part : "Jordan's Celebrated Stomach Bitters. These bitters are invaluable for the Cure of Cramps & Colds, and for the Prevention of Chills and Fevers, and the disease of Camp Life. Every Soldier should be supplied with these Bitters [etc...]. Jordan & Co. 220 Pearl St., Philadelphia."
The label measures 4 1/2 X 1 3/4 inches and i...s in good / fair condition due to stains, foxing spots, age toning, a small bend in the lower corner, and curling & buckling.
