Book Condition and Description.This book is in a acceptable condition, with wear and damage to spine and boards, spine cloth loose but not detached, stains on both boar...ds, see images.Wear on corners, sunning to spine and board edges.
Endpapers and prelims are browning with light foxing.Spine cracking at various points throughout the book.Internally mainly clean with a few light grubby fingerprints and small stains here and there.
Large book with excellent colour period illustrations by Gwynedd Hudson.
This book is a first thus edition from The Boots pure drug Co. Ltd from Nottingham.
Blue buckram cloth boards with gilt and black pictorial decorations to front board, with gilt decor and titles to spine.
Printed on thicker better quality leafs making this book quite heavy.
