Published in London by K & G in 1967, this is the first UK edition of Bizarre Sex Underground by Michael Leigh, renamed for UK consumption from its US title The Velvet Underground. Folklore says that it was Tony Conrad who found a copy of the US edition and gave it to Lou Reed, who swiped the name for his nascent band. This copy of this scarce and cheaply made book is in very good condition overall. The glued "perfect" binding is intact and the spine is straight and unlined. The e...dges of the pages are starting to brown, and the cover shows minor handling wear. This copy likely unread and probably best left so. 4 3/4 x 7 3/4".Terms: eBay suggests Paypal.
