The Gazetteer was issued every other even year. Businesses are grouped by community and each group leads off with a summary of community information. As an example, on p. 111 we find Benchland [Montana]:
BENCHLAND. Est pop 100. Judith Basin County. A p[ost] o[ffice] 15 miles s e of St...ratford. Has a Methodist church, a bank, a hotel and 4 grain elevators. P. Nelson P[ost] M[aster]... There follows a list of 13 businesses in the little community beginning with the Benchland Farmers Elevator Co, Jno H Halpenny mngr and ending with Bert Wilson, barber.
Covers with wear, corners showing, joints cracked cleanly, otherwise very good and certainly usable as a research tool without any repair.
