Walter Keane 1964 1st Printing (NUMBERED?) Hardcover Portfolio -
Item History & Price
Walter Keane 1964 hardcover, stated First Printing by Johnson Meyer, Re...dwood City, California.Since it says Tomorrow's Master Series, I looked at others here and am not sure if this was part of a set, or not. No other copies (I looked at all photographs) that i could find, have a "stamped number" below Walter's photo on the title page, so I am mystified. (see 3rd photo) And spine on other books just say Keane, as mine says Walter Keane. However, much of the rest looks the same, so it could be one volume of the original two volume set. It has no dust jacket and has a few issues. Inside the cover, looks like some labels, like bookplates, were removed, and former owners name inside. No other markings. Some of the plates have wrinkles on the edges, and would just be used for reference, though I'd say about half of the plates could be framed with no issues. If anyone more knowledgeable has comments on this book, I'd love to hear! Please see photos below - you can also enlarge each of them by clicking on the images below.
