Holds MLB record for most career wins (511), most innings pitched, most games started and complete games. Led the league in 5 seasons and pitched 3 no-hitters, including one perfect game. Young was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1937 and in 1956, a year after his death, the Cy Young award was created to honor the best MLB pitcher in each season. The front ...of the card is virtually centered. Green background, clear "CLEVELAND" on gray jersey. Corners are rounded with slight tear on the upper right. The back of the card is a bit off center and print is missing at the top, perhaps from paste in a scrapbook. The card comes from my late father's estate.
