"Dune" is a 519 page (plus xxviii), 6.5"x9.75" hardcover written by Frank Herbert and published in 1987 by The Easton Press (Norwalk, CT). This is the illustrated (by John Schoenherr) "Memorial Edition" with short posthumous remembrances about the author written by other science fiction writers. It's bound in full read leather with 22kt gilt lettering and decorations, hubbed spine, all-gilt edges, moire endpapers and a built-in satin page marker.
The book is in very good condition. ...The cover has shelf wear at the bottom, a tiny spot at the top of the spine. There's a small, mostly-erased pencil mark to the half-title page, and an ownership mark on the dedication page. The interior is otherwise unmarked, and the binding is firm.
