The reasons for an apparent scarcity of Super Bowl V programs have been tossed around by many people over the years...from the delivery truck sliding off of an icy road and catching fire...to the truck crashing into a Florida swamp...to a large number being outside on a pallet at the Orange Bowl and being caught in a severe thunderstorm. The most reasonable (maybe partial) explanation was brought up by Sports Collectors Daily in that Super Bowls I to IX had print runs of 50, 000 to 60,... 000, but Super Bowl V had a printing of 40, 000. By contrast, Super Bowl XX had a run of 650, 000.Offered here is a complete Super Bowl V program that has some cover edge wear (please see photos) The binding and interior pages are very nice.Shipped in cardboard and plastic.Please look at my other items...thanks.
