Illustrated by artist James Lewicki (1917-1980) with 24 full-color paintings in mixed media, 8 of which are double spreads, and 26 black-and-white line drawings. Signed by Lewicki. Introduction by Stanley Edgar Hyman. This set is number 315 of a printing limited to 1500 copies. Includes the origin...al descriptive brochures from the publisher. In excellent pre-owned condition. There is only the slightest wear to the slipcase. The beautifully bound books are in perfect unread condition.
