First we have a beautiful signed copy of one of Le Guins' most esteemednovels, The Left Hand of Darkness. The Left Hand of Darkness has been reprintedmore than 30 times and received a highly positive response from reviewers. Itwas voted the Hugo and Nebula Awards for Best Novel by fans andwriters, respectively, and was ranked third behind Frank Herbert'sDuneand Arthur C.... Clarke's Childhood'sEnd in a 1975 poll in Locusmagazine. In 1987, Locus ranked it second among science fiction novels after Duneand Harold Bloomstated: "Le Guin, more than Tolkien, has raised fantasy into high literature, for our time".This blue edition is the 1993 Easton Press true first edition (the redversion is apparently the 2nd edition) and is bound in blue leatherhardcover fine binding with gilt-edged pages as issued.
