"The Novels of Jane Austen in Ten Volumes, " edited by R. Brimley Johnson and with color illustrations by C.E. and J. M. Brock. 4.5"x7". Bound in sage green cloth with decorative forest green and gilt stamping to covers and spines. With decorative endpapers and silk ribbon bookmarks. Top edges gilt. Good. Expected wear to covers with some light soiling and occasional bubbling to cloth, mostly at rear spine edges but notably to cover of volume two of Sense and Sensibility.
Worm...holes to most volumes at spines and hinges, with worst damage to volume one of Sense and Sensibility. Some cracking to hinges of volume one of Mansfield Park and volume one of Emma. Some cracking to binding of volume two of Pride and Prejudice, with illustration at page 177 loose but present. Light foxing throughout all text blocks, but otherwise clean. A very attractive set with color illustrations well preserved.
