1615 ~ Geneva "Breeches" Bible ~ Printed by Robert Barker ~ London, England.
Robert Barker and his father were printers for the Tudor and Stuart kings and queens. Robert Barker was the printer of the famous King James Bible.
Front and back cover separate from the spine and the leather on the binding is significantly cracked. The pages have yellowed from age and there is some minor tears, but otherwise it is quite readable for a 404 year old book!
Handwritten notes on the inne...r covers and on the blank page before the New Testament title pages (pic shown above). As you can see, the name Thomas Reade is written several times and it also references John Riley and William Bayley.
