....Altec 755/ Western Electric loudspeakers are one of the most sought after loudspeakers of all time... When they work properly, and look good, they command outrageous amounts of money...
BUT- what's a fella to do if he has an old, ragged out, dry rotted, played out, ripped, torn or a cone with a screw driver hole in it/?????
Welp, I started offering several cone options, which are AMERICAN made, at the same plant, and much of the same equipment as the originals-
..******These are NOT the E bay junk which are usually an "all paper"replacement, Waldo, After market, or Chinese knock offs, but these are the proper size/weight, and actually have a HIGH compliance/ easy to flex CLOTH/ textile surround which many of the originals had...
Did I say a CLOTH surround???
BE CAREFUL with replacement and cheap-o after market cones!!!
.......***I also offer another all paper version, and a complete kit with an all paper version, and CAN provide kits with this cone substituted...****
These are made specifically for the 755 model loudspeaker, and can be difficult to properly install...I'd say an intermediate skill level project.....
..***Due to the nature of loudspeaker repairs, and this being a "repair component", ... it is ultimately up to the buyer to determine compatibility. As a result of the nature of repairs, re-cone/repair components are non-returnable, but if you have ANY questions or need help- just ask, and I'll do my best to help out.....
