Offering for bids or a BIN is a Radio Shack DX 934 as illustrated in the shots.The User Manual (shots 11, 12) was printed by us before we rec'd. the radio.
Interested bidders will want to know--The DX 934 is not made in Japan.It's a version "A" radio.Circa (we think) Oct. 1996.
We don't know if a previous owner(s) modified the DX-934.The whip antenna is short -- 17" long.Our attaching a 50 Ft. long wire to the whip only increasedstatic when SW DXing.We can't vo...uch for AM or FM DXing with a long wire antenna.
We can't vouch for using an outdoor antenna because
where we live it's not possible.We can't vouch for setting up an indoor antenna in an attic.
The Radio Shack DX-394 came in our hands last week.It has found it's way back here because given our home's Radio Noise, not having the use of an outdoor antennanor one in our attic, our buying a DX-394 for SW DXing
turned out to be a mistake for us.
