Vintage Remington Rand Bookkeeping Adding Machine Calculator Serial #M57703
Listed and being sold in "As Found" condition, as it was to cool to pass up. All functions appear to be working, but there is no paper and the ink ribbon is dry as a bone.
A little research suggests that the company was formed in the late 1920's and from what I can tell this model was manufactured in the 1930's. Heavy well made steel construction!Measurements are 12" L x 8 1/2" W x 5 1/2" H. Weighs ov...er 17lbs
I am not familiar with this type of equipment so I cannot be certain of the overall functionality.I will point out the flaws that are apparent to me though:The subtotal and total button caps are missingThe decimal point lever cover is missingThe paper cutter blade has a slight bend in itThe rubber feet on the bottom are very aged, cracked and deformed
