Up for sale is a Fisher 400 all-tube stereo receiver. Unit carriers Serial Number 57460-V.
This receiver is mechanically and electrically complete, but is MISSING most of the tubes. Please refer to the photos for missing tubes. Does include three (3) tuner tubes plus the tuning "eye" tube. This unit does have the newer Fisher tuner with additional IF section. The class is clear and the front panel is substantially clean. It has all of the Fish...er knobs but some are missing the brass brights. Unit has the traditional Fisher "bird" molded plug on the power cord.
Additionally, the unit has been upgraded and the selenium rectifier for the DC filament power supply has been replaced with a silicon bridge unit.
Power supply has been operated and verified working and the output transformers check good, but the unit has NOT been operated with full complement of tubes. Glass is good, tuning dial operates, the brown slide switches are intact with clean handles.

Shipping via FedEx ground/USPS to your destination in continental USA is included in the price. It is heavy, weighing in at about 34 pounds without packing or box. There will be a bit more cost for shipping to Alaska or Hawaii, but only to cover actual cost. Happy to ship overseas as I have many satisfied international customers, but for these transactions shipment must be through Ebay Global Express.
This unit WILL REQUIRE WORK by a technician or experienced hobbyist who is capable of safely handling high voltage equipment!
If the buyer is unhappy, simply contact me and return the unit -- undamaged and with original tubes -- and I will gladly refund the purchase price. It does neither of us any good if you are unhappy!
