This auction is for an ANTIQUE LOWELL CLOTHES LINE REEL, with a PATENTED date of 1914. The case is made of metal and has a wall mount bracket. There is a turn crank that operates like a fishing reel, to retract the cord. A lever on the opposite side locks the cord in place. The cord comes out in a loop, and retracts in a loop.
The clothes line reel is fully operational, but I am not sure of the line strength due to age. The end piec...es are removable to replace the line.
