Antique(mid to late 1800's) copper/brass cooking pot, 9 inches diameter x 7 inchesdeep, all brass construction except steel wire bale/handle. Well used (original patina - has not been polished) but intact, no cracks, no leaks , no critical damage. Could be polished tobrightness or keep the old patina. Potis similar to ones that were pictured in use during the American Civil War andpost civil war exploration of the American continent. Pot is un-marked as to manufa...cturer or manufacturer's embossed stamp (usually on bottom/outside)may be worn off. Handle connection to pot is riveted on, and top of pot showsminor fluting from manufacturing process.
