This listing is for a Vintage Mcintosh C-28 preamp being sold for parts/repair. As can be seen in the photos, the front glass is broken. I tried it out, and it does turn on and passes sound, but one channel is much lower than the other. It also has noise when using the controls. All of the knobs funtion as they should, selector, Volume, balance, loudness, etc etc. I do not know its history. I do not know what all it may or may not need to get it back up to proper working conditio...n. What you see is what you will receive.
