Vintage white steel fork with a 1" x 24 TPI threaded steerer. The fork has mudguard eyelets and small cut aways on the dropouts for keyed wheel nut washers.Fork only, no headset components included.Fork crown has the older narrow nut and bolt type holes for the brake caliper (not recessed allen).Steel ForkWeight approx: 750gSteerer tube diameter: 1" Threaded (24 TPI)Steerer tube length: 185mm approx. from bottom of where crown race would be to top of steerer.Threaded area length: 3...3mm approx.Fork length approx: 38cm approx. measured on front from centre of caliper bolt hole to axle.Brake type: Nut and boltDistance between dropouts (OLD): 93mm approx.Fork was originally being used with vintage 27" x 1 1/4" wheels, this fork could possibly be suitable for 700c wheels but would require the use of a long reach/long drop brake caliper.Cosmetically clean. Fork is in reasonable overall condition with some age related marks. Paintwork is mostly very good but is a little scuffed, tarnished and discoloured from age, the paint surface has a few marks and scratches. Age related corrosion and wear to paint around the dropouts, the dropouts are probably a tiny little bit out of alignment, but nothing that is noticeable or unusual for steel forks of this age. No apparent dents or structural damage.
