This unit works great. I cleaned all of the switches and pots with Deoxit. The tape counter belt has been replaced with a new one. There are some small marks on the face plate, see pics. Nothing real bad. There is some paint loss on a few of the numerals on the replaced tape counter, but is still readable, see pic. It's the only OEM part I could find to replace the defective original. All of the lights work great, as do the meters. ... I checked the functions and it is working correctly. A very nice deck. No reels are included. I have two decks I'll be selling in separate auctions. This deck has belonged to my brother for a long time and he hasn't used them for quite a while. He asked me to go over them to be sure all was good, and to list them for sale. Please don't make payment until I send an invoice.
The unit is double boxed as well as packaged with pieces of hard foam on all sides. I placed a harder piece of foam cut to size across the lower front of the deck to keep the important parts from contacting anything. It's packed tight and won't budge in the boxes during shipping. The $24 shipping ebay lists as the shipping cost is incorrect. Go to FedEx and use their calculator to figure shipping using this info: 53lbs. in a box 24"x18" x15" from 54902.
