This is a really nice original vintage oval Shenango Ford restaurant ware dish. Shenango China, New Castle, PA. U.S.A. manufactured the bright white overglazed shiny heavy china dish that measures about 5 ¾” across. It features bright green Ford logo and matching green striped rim band. The bottom bears Shenango backstamp, cross-legged breechcloth-covered Indian decorating piece of Native American pottery. This backstamp was used in ...various forms over the years of Shenango production. I would estimate this dish to be from the mid-to late 1950s. The dish is in excellent condition with no utensil marks, scratching, chips or cracks. The backside does have a few factory glaze pops. Fourteen day return with buyer paying return shipping.
