The book has a Toledano 8 cover, D or Kentendpapers, and an i jacket. The jacket inverse refers to 377 regulartitles. The copyright page states “COPYRIGH, 1941, BY RANDOM HOUSE, INC”. These pointersindicate a fall 1956 jacket.
The 63-year-old used book has a smooth and eventop stain, strong binding and a small prior owner’s sticker on the front endpaper. Fanning the pages in both directions, I noted no writing or underlining andthere is no unpleasant odor. The clippeddust jacket has light chipping at the spine ends and wear along the flapfolds.
