An early Dutch brass tobacco box in the shape of a book. A brass Dutch tobacco box, probably dating from the late 18thcentury, made in the shape of a book. In lovely condition with no visible dents or damage, hinge in perfect working order. This box measures 11.7 cms long, 6.6cms wide, and 2.4 cms deep. It is engraved top and bottom with religious scenes, both with text in Dutch which can be partially seen from the photos.
