Offered here is the complete set of works by Rousseau collected in four volumes with the text in French. A well illustrated set with a portrait, vignette title pages and many full-page engravings, all with the original tissue guards.
Uniformly bound in contemporary quarter red calf with elaborate gilt spines, marbled sides and end-papers.
A very clean, sound and attractively-bound set and offered at a low price.
Condition
Some light rubbing of covers, plates with some foxing, mostly light, a bit heavier in places.
