Ebalmers’ Anatomical Aid. Published by Western Publishing House. Unique and rare scientific medical teaching aid with eight pages containing full multi-layer colored fold out's. These are lithographed and sketched images, detailing human anatomy. Detail fold outs illustrate the body, head, the eye and ear and the “upper and lower extremities”. Other pages offer illustrations of the skeleton, muscular, circulatory and nervous systems. Measures 15 1/4 x 11 3/8” Dates to the late ...1800’s to early 1900’s. The book shows its age with wear, most notably, at the top flap. There are some stains and wear on the pages. All fold outs remain attached. I’ve included photos of all pages but not all the fold outs (some for you to discover). Please review all photos to assess condition.
