Gorgeous bright, tightly woven, very fine vintage Saltillo. Colors are stunning, with brightly colored yellow, pinks, green and orange “God’s Eye” center. Yellow is picked up in body of blanket with decorative cross symbols throughout the deep turquoise background. I have an extensive collection having been born and raised in the Southwest and gathering these beauties for the past 30 years. This is an outstanding piece. Large size, finely woven, vibrant color, delicate fringe det...ail. Very collectible, getting harder to find. Large blanket measures 84” X 62” plus a delicate, intricately knotted 6” fringe on each end. A few moth bites shown in photos. Barely noticeable when blanket is used as a bed cover, over the back of a couch or displayed as a wall piece. Truly stunning colors and 6” fringe is in fine condition. This woven piece is a fine example of quality Mexico textile workmanship of the 1940’s and 50’s. Sold as is. Beautiful piece!
