Here is a nice piece of Central American hand woven wool, with super vivid colors and tight weave. At the estate where bought it had named the country where made but I don't remember it now. 66" x 56", which includes about 5" of fringe on 2 ends. 11 1/2" opening for head and neck. Substantial piece of weaving; weighs 3 pounds.
In fair condition. There are a few areas with nibble marks, maybe moths, that do not go through the fabric. Only one ...area displays small group of holes that go all the way through fabric, sits--if wearing--on arm below elbow, Main hole has length of about 1" and is actually 2 holes. Last 5 photos shows these flaws. Keep in mind that the close up camera exaggerates the flawed areas. Despite these, this piece would look great on a wall or sofa, and the right appreciator/collector will cherish the quality.
