This great little pipe has a lovely feel when in hand. Of simple and functional design the Meerschaum bowl has a lovely, polished patina. Along the shaft there's a white metal band joining it to the light yellow, amber moth piece. It's intact and fully functional with some signs of teeth wear on the amber.
This little pipe has its own dedicated, red velvet lined case. The case has fully functional hinges and catch but would benefit from a bit of a wax! Both case and pipe were probab...ly made at the end of the 1800's. The pipe measures about 4 1/4" long, say 110mm.
