a really super example of an early arts & crafts hand wrought pewter salver or card receiving tray, it was produced in the art nouveau jugendstil secessionist era of around 1900 at the same time as the german firms of wmf, kayserzinn and orivit were producing similar pieces of art nouveau pewter, made by William haselers of Birmingham for the liberty & co tudric pewter ware range, fully marked to the base with the tudric stamp plus the design number 0111 dating t...o around 1903 and easily recognisable as coming from the iconic designs of archibald knox, the pewter is a polished condition with no loss of definition to the wonderful knox embossed stingray design to the flat rim and with its polished finish it seems to shimmer in the light when moved, over all condition should be considered as excellent and being hand wrought it is not perfect but displays all the minor imperfections expected of a hand finished piece, it measures 9.5" across so a nice impressive display piece, if you require any further information, please send an e-mail and I will get back to you.we are happy to accept payment by cheque or bank transfer
