I'm listing a little bit of everything under the sun this week, including dozens of hard to find antique radio and phonograph parts from the way back yonder days when you actually fixed something if it broke and didn't just throw it away and buy a new one. Here's a vintage Wimshurst Machine in its original box. Appears to be a student set. No maker's mark or date anywhere on the box, but my guess is Edmunds Scientific ca. 1950's. I think it's complete, or close, but it's being offered as a project -- for parts or restoration -- because I'm unable to get it to generate a spark. Condition of the apparatus is good, and it does not appear to have seen much use. Box is in reasonably good shape, with some browning and marks, some tape on the edges of the panels, the usual.
Please look at the pictures and consider them an integral part of the description.
Box measures approximately 15" x 12" x 5". Shipping weight approximately 8 lb.
