Here we have a great and old vintage Fish Decoy, Spearing, Ice Fishing Decoy; a Michigan Herring, circa 1940-1950's. 9 1/2 " long, painted silver, with a green-blue back.  Beautifully carved mouth and gills.  Painted eyes.  The drama of this great fish is the streaming blood; flowing from the gill and mouth, painted in a high-contrast black, and running down one side and flowing across the tail fin on both sides.  All original and intact.  A beautiful Old Fish....
