Very special heirloom open back banjo with fancy marquetry c. 1880 by Thompson & Odell, Boston.  All the wood is in wonderful shape.  Has all tuning pegs.  Mahogany shell and neck with ebony fretboard and inlaid mother of pearl accents.  Neck is straight.  Might have been a special order since I have never seen this type of inlaid banding before.  Measures:  34 inches in length.
