On offer is a vintage large ceramic porcelain sculpture figurine of a baboon by listed Italian designer artist Giovanni Ronzan (1906-1974). Ronzan was founded in 1939 the company produced fine porcelain figurines and decorative arts. Ronzan worked for the Lenci factory from 1930-1939 as chief painter and ceramic modeller. He then left and opened his own factory. It is signed on the bottom. Very good condition, no cracks or chips.
There's two lines within the glaze I do not feel it ...when running my fingertip or nail over it. Dimensions are approximately 14 3/8" tall by 13 3/8" from front foot to back by 9 7/8" across the front. Zoom in or enlarge the pictures for more clarity, they are a part of the description.
