Up for sale is this rare 1882 copy of, "Notes on Cage Birds: Or, Practical Hints on the Management of British and Foreign Cage Birds, Hybrids, and Canaries." The book is overall in good condition with signs of wear and age. It has been rebound at some point in the past, but it retains the original fabric from the covers and most of the original fabric of the spine. The covers have some moderate soiling and wear. The binding of the book is good and strong. ...There is some mild staining to the page fore-edge and some staining around the edges of about 4 pages at the back of the book in the index/advertisements. The title page has an inked inscription to the bottom corner. Besides that, the pages are fairly clean with the occasional minor bit of foxing, light grubby mark or minor bit of soiling. Along with that there may be the occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, tiny chip or tear, etc. Please look at the photos to further note the condition and feel free to message me with questions you may have.
