For consideration is a complete set (1-16) of The Golden Book Encyclopedia of Natural Science. 1962 Printing. Very clean for age, overall good condition. The subtitle on the cover of each volume is "A world survey of birds, mammals, insects, fish, flowers, trees, rocks, stars and all other fields of natural histo...ry". A typical page has two or three articles with one or two fairly accurate color drawings that define elements of the organic and inorganic natural history of North America. The tone is informative, not conversational. The articles are written at the reading levels for children between perhaps age 10 through adult.
