Professionally cleaned.An Authentic "Transitional Period" Antique (circa WWI or earlier) Native American Tribal NAVAJO BLANKET with "Lazy Lines" The exact size is: 42" x 52" (107 x 132 cm). Comes in very good allover original condition with corner tassels. Possesses superb wool quality giving the textile quite a soft and supple handle to it in the hand. Shows a few minor areas of past ethnographic age use (Please... see close up photos). Both sides exhibit the same color hue palette = NO fading. Woven in a home environment using different shades of natural brown wool, natural grey wool, and natural ivory-white wool. The red dye lot is probably an aniline color, but I do not see any areas of bleeding or color run. Starting price is just $9.99 with NO reserve price. Sold to the highest bidder.
