Original Description:
The Edo period or Tokugawa period is the period between 1603 and 1868 in the history of Japan, when Japanese society was under the rule of the Tokugawa shogunate and the country's 300 regional daimyō.
this is a beautiful extremely old Japanese masterpiece. It has all original pieces. Exquisite detail. The hinges are all in tact but hold the doors on loosely. (Obviously due to age) my father has kept a small piece of paper under one door to keep the doors closed so that they don’t... become broken. The box itself is in great condition. All drawers open and slide closed. Truly a beautiful piece of art. Measures 12 inches in length by 11 inches in height. And is 6 inches across in width.
