Vintage 1980s BC Rich STIII Neck through Body Blank. Before I delve into condition details, I want to address, before it is asked many times(Because I would as well) This instrument does NOT Originate with Ed Roman/East Coast Music Mall/World Class Guitars in any way shape or form. It is not a Hanser Sell-Off nor is it a Randy Waltuch/Class Axe build. It is an early example of an ST3(Recessed rear cavities, Ibanez Edge I Bridge opening, Pearl R Inlay etc) These attributes date it befor...e the release of the Gunslingers. Whether it may have come from the Garver/Rico Woodpile, I do not know but it came to me years ago via a seller in California. It is either an El Monte or TJ/Pasaye build. Structurally, it is 100% sound. I recently had it worked on by GMW where Lee did his magic in eliminating the middle position pickup cavity by overlaying a wood veneer leaving this in the Hum/Sing configuration similar to an Assassin model. The ebony board is in excellent shape as is the binding. I've never seen a Diamond inlay/bound ebony board on one of these. There are no wood cracks, I've had the guitar mocked up to get it all lined up for paint but other priorities have come up and I do not have time to complete. I DO have a really clean EDGE I Bridge listed in another BIN listing. The instrument is in poly primer ready to be wet sanded and prepped for paint, then easy reassembly. The truss rod turns and adjusts properly and is the correct vintage spec/type. Sold in AS-IS condition. Please feel free to ask any questions before you bid. Will ship globally.
