Up for auction is a SUPERB VERY EARLY CHINESE OR INDIAN GOLD GILT BRONZE BUDDHA DEITY FIGURE BUST. We do not know a great deal about this bronze bust it is one of the more interesting and finely detailed examples we have personally seen or ever offered. The bust is very old our best guess is several hundred years from other bronzes and early Buddha’s we have handled. The figure also shows remnants of its original gold gilding as seen. It is Well Worth looking into this busts value we have seen examples similar to this sell well into the thousands and in some cases even tens of thousands at the higher-end auctions in recent years. As our auctions have run for 15 years here online this fine and very interesting bronze bust is being offered with Absolutely No Reserve.
Condition: Estate-fresh fine undisturbed original condition as seen. Came from estate with this base.
Size: The bust itself measures 4 1/4 inches long, by 3 1/8 inches wide, and 4 1/8 inches tall. The bust with stand measures 6 3/4 inches tall.
