PLEASE, NO OFFERS. You are bidding on TWO (2) GENUINE VICTORIAN ERA CAST IRON GOTHIC CANDLE STICKS. Each one weighs almost 4 pounds. They are in excellent condition, except for two repair welds (see photos of front and back of weld area) at the base of one of the candle holders, and some slight rusting in the weld area. Only really visible upon close inspection. The design motif features scrollwork, two fish/dolphins, and an eagle. The maker's mark on the bottom is a complex arrangemen...t of letters and numbers inside a circle and diamond shape, which look like 1 26 8 Rd L R (see final photo).
These were purchased in 1973 by my mother in England, and already had the repair welds when she bought them; must've taken a header sometime during their long life.
