Here we have a very fine and rare vintage briar estate pipe in the straight 'bulldog' style, with a lovely rusticfinish to the black briar.
The pipe is branded "VB" on the stem, with model number "48" on the shank.I believe "VB" may identify Belgian pipe brand, 'Vinche'.
The pipe has been very carefully smoked and remains in excellent condition - just some light discolourationand a few very light teethmarks on the stem.
There is a shallow layer of carbon in the chamber.Th...e stem fixes very securely to the shank, and air flows through the pipe freely.There is also a stinger inside the shank.
Thoroughly cleaned and ready to enjoy.Sold as seen.
