Original Description:
This adorable bear has been stored in my china cabinet in non-smoking home for years and was inherited from my mother.  He is about 16" tall standing and 12" sitting.  He does not stand up unless you lean him against the back of a cabinet and believe he was designed to be in a sitting position.   He is jointed and all the joints move freely.  I am in process of selling all items in cabinet as I want to sell the cabinet and make more room in my house.  I am... not an expert on Steiff and looked up the description on this item on similar bears for sale on eBay.  The bear has a hump on the back which you can see in pictures.  The bear used to "growl" when you tilted it and then lifted it up but the growler no longer works.  The fir is in beautiful condition as it has been lightly handled and never played with. It is a beige/blond color.
