Welcome! For auction is this lovely old Chinese kesi silk fragment with front facing dragon. The largest dimensions are appx. 22 1/4 x 21 3/4". Some minor loss to silk edging. Small repaired tear above head of dragon. Front facing five clawed imperial dragon at center above lishui stripe. Very good quality. Likely from a Court robe or a larger panel. General light wear and mild soiling. Creases which could likely be steamed out. A few scattered possible loose/missing threads, but overa...ll in decent shape. A very nice old textile.
