An Exceedingly Rare Georgian Napoleonic Prisoner of War Straw-work Wooden Panel.
Caricature Lion with Human Face ofNapoleon Bonaparte, beautifully worked by a French Napoleonic Prisoner of War, circa 1800-1820.
The French Prisoner is defiantly showing his Emperor Napoleon depicted as a Majestic French Empire Lion!
On the reverse is a Straw-work Sunburst pattern which adds to the quality.
In Fine condition for age and still retaining its colours - The Rarest Straw work ...example I have ever seen!

Panel Size:   6 3/4" high x 4 1/2" wide x 3/16" deep.
