On the plaque on the front of the wooden cover, it’s usually written “Hammond” but on this one it has a silver plaque which has the name of D.A. WYNNE W...ILLSON. There is also an address on the wooden base which is “Wm HUNT, 18, BROAD ST., OXFORD Office specialist.” I originally purchased this machine from the UK, I searched up the name D.A. WYNNE WILLSON, and his name appeared in the 1905 edition of the Oxford Magazine. He seems to be a person of importance. Buyer can do more research on the original owner. The machine itself is in nice condition, it works meaning when you press a key, the carriage advances and returns. The ribbon spools are missing two bolts that hold the ribbon spools down, though that doesn’t affect the functionality of the machine. It has a plaque on the left of the machine on the wooden base which only appears on earlier production machines, which states it’s produced by Hammond, and the location of its production. It has a new impression strip. If you want an ideal Hammond, this one is the perfect one, it has amazing history behind it and it is a pleasure to own it. International buyers contact me prior to purchase of this machine.Link of the 1905 Oxford paper. https://books.google.com/books?id=WTPmAAAAMAAJ&pg=PA65&lpg=PA65&dq=da+wynne+willson+oxford&source=bl&ots=jPMF9CxAxK&sig=ACfU3U2b86j_P6KuqCHVUnnd0WxEpE_XTA&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjEk6Pb9uvkAhWHmeAKHdCrDwsQ6AEwAXoECAQQAQ#v=onepage&q=da%20wynne%20willson%20oxford&f=false
